Definition:
U.S. Omnibus Trade Act of 1988 gives the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) discretion to unilaterally enforce sanctions in response to unreasonable, unjustifiable, or discriminatory foreign government practices that burden or restrict U.S. commerce.

A document by which a person requests a federal trademark registration.

Definition:
Trademark Trial and Appeal Board -- an administrative tribunal at the USPTO. It has jurisdiction over appeals from decisions of the Trademark Office, as well as opposition proceedings and cancellation proceedings.
